Our Story
The Leadership Commission was founded on a simple conviction: effective leadership can change the direction of an organization, a community, and a life. Our purpose is to help leaders recognize their potential, strengthen their ability to make sound decisions, and develop the confidence and strategic perspective needed to lead with lasting impact.
The Leadership Commission grew from decades of experience in leadership, entrepreneurship, ministry, and organizational development. Its founder, Dr. Daniel Piper, has spent more than three decades leading organizations, building businesses, developing leaders, and helping people navigate important decisions and periods of change. Those experiences reinforced a central belief: leadership is not simply a position—it is the ability to see possibilities, make sound decisions, influence others, and turn vision into meaningful action.
Meet Dr. Daniel Piper
Dr. Daniel Piper is a strategic leadership practitioner, entrepreneur, and organizational leader with more than three decades of experience building businesses, leading teams, and developing people. He holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and brings together academic research with practical, real-world leadership experience.
His leadership experience spans entrepreneurship, media, ministry, organizational development, and real estate. Throughout his career, Dr. Piper has worked with leaders and organizations across a variety of settings, helping them navigate growth, change, strategic decisions, and new opportunities. His approach to leadership emphasizes vision, sound judgment, practical strategy, and developing people to reach their potential.
